Joan Rivers: Exit Laughing

The Comedy Hall of Fame’s first documentary for PBS as part of a partnership to develop arts programming for comedy. The film “Exit Laughing” was created to grant a unique and unprecedented understanding of Joan Rivers,  one of the grand masters of modern comedy, through the insights of 3 generations of brilliant and defining comedians, all who have Joan’s influence in common. In such a way, we shed light on how comedy grows from one generation to the next. Nominated for 3 Emmys in 2017, this documentary features Sarah Silverman, Whitney Cummings, Kathy Griffin, Dick Cavett, Don Rickles, Lily Tomlin, Marlo Thomas, Gilbert Gottfried, Jeff Ross and many more.
